Motorway Parking Place 12/09/2016

Day started with cleaning up, packing stuff and saying goodbye to Severyn and his family. Severyn is 24 and going to marry next Saturday. Congrats and all the best! Next time I’m coming to Lviv I could stay at his place he told me. Yeah! (And I’ll bring all my friends)

Nazar who I meet two days ago is 38 and has got 3 children. He told me the Ukrainian way is different to the German philosophy. They put sozial life in front of career.

Went to the House of Scientists (pictures to come), ate something in the old post office, wrote some cards and went up the streets again to the train station where I parked my car.
When I left the car the cashier was looking at me like he would totally rip me off. Either calling his friends of the chisel gang or just an extraordinary bill for luxury parking, shadow included and stuff. He had the same look when I got back 3 hours later and even when he told me it would cost 10 Hrywnja he didn’t change his look. So I payed these 30 cents and left. Guess he just had a face like that and I have to think about prejudgement.
Went to the super market because I had some money left over of the 500 Hrywnja I got from the cash machine right before getting my car and bought a backpack full of groceries. Didn’t have to pay even 10 Euro. Always makes me feel bad when I’m coming as the rich tourist.

Last weeks I always turned on a smaller street when I was tired of driving to find a spot to sleep. This time I had this Pothole-Smoke-journey of the last post which lead me back to the M-06.

It’s about 10 pm and I’m lying in the back of the car drinking Robert Doms beer, which isn’t that bad. Last gift of my host.
I’m on a parking place next to a fast and crowded street and a gas station. Would like to say I had worse but can’t remember a place which was. As i can hear right now a train rail is on the other side of the street.

I’m actually pretty glad I found this one because it’s dark outside and although it’s next to a street the air is fresh.
Hope I can drink enough beer to get some sleep.
